Level 2 Food Safety for Retail


It is very important that food safety is ascertained in many sectors of the food industry. Since then, more than two hundred food borne illnesses have struck and taken the lives of individuals all over the world. As a matter of fact, people who suffer illnesses due to foodborne diseases affect anyone in relation to them, from producer, to consumer, to distributors, and to managers. What causes these kind of events are mishandling food production, mishandling food processing, and lack of keen observation for the food safety.


Food Administrators and their employers are responsible of keeping their food safe. This is a legislation stated by a number of UK and Europa laws. If you manage the food, or if you are the employer, then you should make sure that the food you prepare, cook, and sell is safe for consumption. Not being able to follow this standard might cause the food to be contaminated which could cause poisoning, and may even cause death.
