What is RoSPA ?

For almost 100 years, RoSPA has been quietly working behind the scenes to change both legislation and attitudes surrounding accidents. From the compulsory wearing of seatbelts and the campaign to stop drink driving, to the Cycling Proficiency Test and to the more recent ban on handheld mobile phones behind the wheel, RoSPA has been instrumental in shaping our society for the better, preventing millions of deaths and serious injuries along the way.

Since RoSPA has been the leading organization in UK that is working on to prevent different kinds of accidents at work, home and outside. And asbestos being the leading cause of work-related deaths in the UK.

A RoSPA approved training course for Asbestos Awareness Training is an absolute must for the goodwill of employers and employees alike. For also RoSPA trainers have backgrounds in industry, giving them a deep understanding of legislation, including the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2012. So being approved by them is a good sign that the training is enough.

Remember like RoSPA would claim “Too many people are killed and seriously injured in preventable accidents.” If it is preventable then we should make an effort to prevent it.
